A Message from Our President
Dear Members,
As the sweltering heat of this summer subsides, my attention turns to our main event – the Fall Conference. With many colleagues likely forgoing RSNA this year given the current geopolitical climate, our conference offers the perfect opportunity to connect with vendors in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I’ve already heard from several of you who are looking forward to this year’s venue – the beautiful White Oaks Resort in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Beyond the setting, the conference is also an opportunity for us to receive relevant education that helps us meet the latest challenges in our imaging departments and beyond. The conference committee has worked diligently to assemble a program to meet this year’s theme: Quality and Efficiency: Balancing High Standards with Operational Success.
As a primer on the quality side, the OARM partnered with AC Diagnostics in mid-August to deliver a webinar on “The Art of No-Blame Incident Investigation”. We will be hosting another webinar on October 9 titled “Document Development and Control”.
I’d also like to remind you that the OARM will soon be rebranding. Many of you have already participated in our survey to help select a new name. This exciting change will be part of our discussion at the conference and during this year’s Annual Members’ Meeting.
I look forward to seeing you this October-be sure to register! If you’re interested in volunteering on the board, you can also find the Nomination Form below.
See you soon,
Gerald MacDonald, President
